A trader can only adequately assess information, opinions, and emotions through a longer time frame. Anything less is just guessing, which, as I said, is gambling.

I started my career in trading in 2007 with swing trading and failed. After that, I tried day trading and failed. After that, I tried innumerable trading systems and failed. Finally, I tried every indicator combination and failed.  

On shorter time frames, I was set up for failure. I never really had a chance.

That’s not to say there weren’t winning days and weeks, but over time, failure was inevitable. 

Until I gave up shorter time frames and learned how to properly read charts and use news and economic data, which changed everything.

This process liberated me from frustration and gave me a consistently profitable way to trade. Looking back, I can’t believe I didn’t start with Position Trading.

I want to share this experience with you and build a community of like-minded traders seeking success. So we’re not just better, more successful traders but also having fun doing it.

Position trading is the most intellectually stimulating activity because you have the time to analyze the multifaceted Forex market and digest how the world is moving the price of money.

The additional upside for me is I have a lot more than trading to do in my life. I have family, friends, a full-time job, and other interests.  

Short-term trading had me awake at crazy hours, staring at my phone or computer constantly. Short-term trading is entirely impractical for almost everyone.  

Automated trading is even worse since these “robots” are all terrible. They either have nothing but losing trades or don’t make any trades. But, on the other hand, Position Trading is an absolute joy!
